Community Benefit
Each year, we strive to help our communities in a very substantial way by providing what we call "community benefit." Community benefit consists of programs that help more people access the healthcare they need, and it also consists of programs that improve the health of communities -- particularly the health of the most vulnerable members of those communities.
In keeping with our mission, Catholic Health Partners (CHP) provided $365.1 million in community benefit during 2010 -- 8.5% of the year's operating expenses. For more detailed information on the specific types of community benefit that CHP provided, view our Report to the Community.
